David Knox, East Carolina University David Knox, Ph.D. is Professor of Sociology at East Carolina University and teaches Sociology of Human Sexuality as well as the marriage and family courses. He is the author or co-author of over 50 research publications and 10 books. He is a marriage/family therapist and married to Caroline Schacht. They have three children. He loves big band music.
