Dr. Jerald F. Dirks received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees from Harvard University and his Master of Arts and Doctor of Psychology degrees from the University of Denver. He is the author of 10 previous books in the fields of comparative religion and history of religion. He is also the author or coauthor of over 60 published articles in the behavioral sciences, over 140 published articles on the Arabian horse and its history, and over 220 published articles or formal presentations on various aspects of religion. He has lectured on comparative religion throughout the United States and in Canada, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East and has been interviewed by newspapers,… magazines, and radio and/or television shows throughout the United States and in four foreign countries.
