Craig Hemmens is Department Head and Professor in the Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice at Missouri State University. In addition to being the editor for the SAGE Text/Reader Series in Criminology/Criminal Justice, he has published several books, including Law, Justice and Society (Oxford University Press, @2009), Legal Guide for Police (Anderson, �2011) and An Introduction to Criminal Evidence (Oxford University Press, �2009). He has been nominated for several teaching awards, and is currently serving as the first Vice President of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. He holds a J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law and a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice…    

David C. Brody is an associate professor and the Academic Director of the Criminal Justice Program at Washington State University. He received a JD from the University of Arizona College of Law and a PhD in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany. He is the co-author of textbooks on criminal law and criminal procedure, and over twenty scholarly articles that have been published in such journals as the American Criminal Law Review, Journal of Contemporary Criminal Justice, Hastings Women's Law Journal, Crime and Delinquency, and Judicature.

Steven Belenko is Professor in the Temple University Department of Criminal Justice and adjunct Professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He has conducted extensive research and published widely on drug abuse and crime, the impact of substance abuse on the adult and juvenile justice systems, drug policy, and developing and testing organizational change strategies to improve the implementation of drug treatment for offenders.
