Josephine began her career in healthcare as a nurse's assistant in 1968. She progressed to an LPN and then an ADRN by 1982. She worked as an Associate Degree Nurse for a number of years and then returned to school to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and graduated from Western Carolina University, in Cullowhee, NC, with Honors in 1998. She now resides in Asheville, NC, where continues in her nursing capacity in the psychiatric field. She likes to read, spend time with friends, write, go for a little Saturday night dancing, and spoil her grandchildren. She also loves to travel and meet new people.
