Paul spent many years "writing for fun", mainly for friends and family, and for special occasions. Having been involved in amateur dramatics for many years, he also wrote and performed many sketches, scenes and pantomimes.He also wrote as an oulet when things moved or impressed him, mainly in the form of poetry or prose. The most well known of his poems "Mogol Child", was circulated around the World, being reprinted many times and was finally included in an anthology of poems called "Answer me World", which was sold to raise funds for the mental health charity "MENCAP".
