I am a nursing home nurse. I have been a state inspector of nursing homes, conducted Federal Surveys in nursing homes and investigated elder abuse and neglect for seventeen years. I have been a supervisor in a nursing home, a director of nursing in a nursing home, a consultant to nursing homes, and an educator of the certified nurse aides. I am a senior citizen. I want to ensure when the time comes, if it does, I have at least done the best I could to make life better for another in some small way. It's my way of paying it forward.I wanted this book to be short, to the point, easy to read, and user friendly. I want it to be just like me!
