Linda Chalmer Zemel has been a News Book Reviewer for The Buffalo News and wrote and hosted a weekly radio interview program, "What's New," on WHLD 1270 AM in Buffalo.She is also the author of a novel, WITCH HUNT, and a stage play, "Reunion," as well as musical comedy and a book on dream theory.She received her BA and MA from the University of Rochester, where she also did doctoral work in human development.She has been the recipient of grant money for writing and performing in distance learning videos and for training teacher aides for urban schools. Her teaching assignments have included adolescent education for prospective secondary school teachers as well as analytical and media writing… for undergraduates.She received the Excellence in Teaching Award from Rochester Institute of Technology College of Continuing Education and retired as adjunct assistant professor of English at SUNY Monroe Community College.Currently, she teaches in the Communication Department at SUNY Buffalo State College and makes her home in Western New York.
