Randell is a life resident of southern Louisiana. Much of his life during the 1980's was spent operating high performance jet boats, enjoying water sports on Louisiana waterways. In 2006, Randell was awarded the Louisiana National Guard Distinguished Civilian Service Medal, and Mentor of the Year Award, for his work in the Youth Challenge Program. He also served in the search and rescue efforts during the aftermath flood of Hurricane Katrina, which claimed the life of his girlfriend. Randell holds five US Design Copyrights on Covert, close range anti-human recognition camouflage, and maintains close ties to our Special Forces. In late 2007, Randell was stricken with a rare, curable cancer.… During his recovery, he returned to writing after many years, resulting in the publication of FoxTheft, which he had originally written in 1986. Currently, Randell resides alone in a rural area close to Baton Rouge, living a peaceful, moderate lifestyle, as he continues his recovery.
