The author has a B.M.S.E. from the Case-Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio. He is the author of many Mechanical Engineering technical articles that are available on the internet and other sources for Professional Development Credit Hours. As a young engineer he worked at Cape Canaveral, Florida as a Flight Test Engineer on the Atlas Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System during its initial stages of development. Later in life, he was employed by all of the "Big Three" U.S. automakers where he obtained a patent and was rewarded for outstanding achievement in engineering design and development.
