I was born April 23, 1949 in Flint, Michigan USA. At the early age of five my mother re-married her first cousin, we moved to Lebanon and from that day my life has been anything but routine.I was fortunate to have been raised with two sets of family, in two very different homelands, enjoying a diverse culture at both ends and equipped with a multi-lingual education.As with my up-bringing, I have enjoyed a very diverse career in International Sales and Marketing split almost down the middle between the Persian Gulf and the USA.Ever since my divorce of 1991, I have entertained the idea of a book that would allow me to document the years I was separated from my children, giving them a bridge… in time and allowing them the gap in history they would need to chart their lives clearly.Even if this book only gives my children a sense of balance, allowing them to know how much I love them and re-assuring them I will always be there for them. I consider the labor of writing this book as time well spent.
