Ronette D. Jacobs is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia. She has spent the last twenty years educating children and adults in various modalities in public and higher education sectors in both Virginia and North Carolina. Not only does Ronette enjoy teaching, but she also delights in mentoring and tutoring children and adults in the community. Additionally, Ronette contributes to others by being the CEO of Tools for Life, a youth and young adult workshop and seminar business, and the President and Founder of PEARLS, an organization that empowers girls to live successful lives. She is an Assistant Professor of English at Paul D. Camp Community College in Suffolk, VA.
