Denis De Luchi is a 20 year Air Force veteran. He was a B-52 Aircraft Commander and sprayed Agent Orange in Vietnam, flying over 200 combat missions, for which he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and eight Air Medals. After attending a graduate program in Geophysics at the Air Force Institue of Technology, he became a project officer in satellite technology. Upon retirement from the Air Force he took up the teaching of Physics at various colleges and universities in Nortern California. He has enjoyed writing all his life, and has let it become his third occupation.
