George Dlouhy was born during WW2 in a small village near Prague. During his employment as a mountain guide during early sixties, George had started with photography and his first articles in newspapers appeared after his extensive travel through Australia and Asia. In 1979 he moved permanently to Australia and for a period of 20 years worked mainly as a computer programmer. He published an article 'High Level Sailing' in Australian sailing magazine 'Cruising Helmsman' in February 1995, followed by extensive series of articles in Czech fishing magazine "Rybarstvi". Just recently, he produced a fishing video "Fishing Lost River" in Czech and English. His other books are "The Vigor Ting" in… English, "Ta voda pohadkova" in Czech and "Pohadky Koraloveho more", which is Czech version of this book.
