Dr. Bizzack is a twenty-five year veteran of policing, retiring from the Lexington Division of Police where in 1996. His career experience ranged from uniform duties, to detective, commander of the Bureau of Investigation and Office of the Chief of Police. He has served since 1996 as Commissioner of the Department of Criminal Justice Training, Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet He is author of six books dealing with leadership, management, investigation and other topical issues in the field of law enforcement and criminal justice. He is active with various state and local boards, task forces and non-profit community organizations dealing with issues facing policing, other components… of the criminal justice system and community service and continues to speak nationally on the important issues of police standards and leadership in the criminal justice system and on other topics. He is also an active member of Lexington Lodge No. 1 F&AM and the Louisville Scottish Rite.
