Dr. Antoinette Temporiti, CPPS, founded Microfinancing Partners in Africa (MPA). Her 2003 sabbatical year to Africa inspired the work that MPA does today. In 1972 Temporiti joined the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in O'Fallon, Missouri. She has a BA in Math and Theology, an MA in Theology, MSW in Social Work, and PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Temporiti was born and raised in St. Louis where she still resides and is actively leading MPA today. She remains committed to the principles of microfinance and hopes that this book will help others understand the profound impact a small loan can have on the lives of families in Kenya and beyond.Maria Allen-Koerner lives in St. Louis with… her husband Joe. After a long career in art education, she retired to have more time to create her own art. Allen-Koerner enjoys relating her art to issues of social justice. She works specifically with two-dimensional media, her favorites being watercolor and printmaking. Allen-Koerner's talents are irreplaceable and are a blessing to the creation of One Potato Two and to MPA.
