Born in Portugal in 1970, Nuno S. G. Fernandesmoved to New York City in the early 1990s. Heis a trustee at the Town School in Manhattanand at the Mary McDowell Friends School inBrooklyn. Through the adversities of life andthe exposure to different philosophies, he andhis wife have taken a path of self-discovery,leadership, and love that is exemplified in hisdebut work, Batissimo. He currently lives with his lovely wife,Nicola, and children, Freddie, Luisa, and Mia, on the UpperWest Side.
