Born and raised in the small town of Bogota, NJ. Holds a Bachelor's Degree from Ramapo College in Communication Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design, along with a K-8 Elementary Certification. Holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the College of New Jersey. Played three sports in college: basketball, volleyball, and softball. Married in 2001 to Frank Cardia. Mother of two children, Drew Alexander and Dean Anthony. Small business owner of Cardiacreations.com. Currently resides in Moonachie, NJ and employed as a middle school Multimedia teacher.
