About the AuthorThe first thing you should know about me is that I am obsessed with the topic of survival, especially urban survival. I don't know if technically it's an obsession, or a very strong passion, but I am definitely on a mission. I'm always ready to talk survival with anyone who will listen. I don't live in an underground bunker, and I'm not preparing for a zombie apocalypse; well maybe I'm preparing a little, just in case. I have, however, survived some very scary events and have spent the last twenty years figuring out what works and what doesn't - often the hard way. I'm a father of four, a grandfather, a husband and a responsible member of society that refuses to delegate my… responsibility for my family's welfare to the government, or to anyone else for that matter. When I'm not writing, speaking, teaching or thinking about survival, I am busy practicing law and running my law office. Read this book. And if it helps you, tell your friends and loved ones about it, and ask them to read it. There are no guarantees in life, but after any major disaster two separate and distinct groups will emerge - the prepared and the unprepared. It's up to you what group you'll belong to. As far as I'm concerned, the ultimate measure of this book's success will be how many people it can help guide into the prepared group.
