BARBARA HURSTON SAMPSON was born and reared in Connecticut. She jointly owns and operates a family therapy business in Connecticut with her daughter, Robin.Barbara is great niece to Zora Neale Hurston. Zora, a novelist, folklorist, playwright and anthropologist is considered one of the preeminent writers of twentieth century African -American Literature.
