Dr. Vivian Dettbarn-Slaughter teaches voice and piano at the University of Findlay in Ohio, and is a Professor of Sacred Music and Fellow at the Graduate Theological Foundation in Indiana. She has performed in the U.S., Canada and Europe, and is a recipient of the Gupta Award for Teaching Excellence in the Fine Arts at the University of Findlay. Dr. Dettbarn-Slaughter has had a varied career as a voice teacher, classical singer, pianist, opera coach, composer, chamber musician, organist, and church music director.
