Born in San Francisco, Craig served twenty one years in the US Army. He holds Bachelor and Associate of Science Degrees in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with post-graduate study in Business Administration at Columbia Southern University. He was the Distinguished Graduate from his Army Flight School class and is a Charter Life Member of the American Society of Aviation Artists. While in the army he flew airplanes and helicopters and served with the 1st Cavalry Division, the 2nd Infantry Division, the US Army South and V Corps. He was an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft commander and retired as a master army aviator. With 11,500… flying hours in more than 25 types of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, he still flies helicopters and airplanes for fun, and rides motorcycles throughout Britain.
