Born in Nigeria in 1965, Ike C. Ibe studied Law in Imo (Abia) State University Nigeria and American University in Washington DC. He earned Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Law. His carreer has spanned through legal practice, politics, public service, charity work etc. He was elected member of Imo State of Nigeria House of Assembly at the age of 25 in 1991 where he went on to serve as the speaker. He went on to become Imo State Trade Representative in United States between 2000-2006. He was a candidate for governorship elections in Imo state of Nigeria both in 2007 and 2011. He is married with two daughters and currently lives in Owerri and Abuja, Nigeria.
