Carly Ubersox is a former entertainment publicist who spent over a decade writing in the voice of others and providing newsworthy information to countless media outlets. Since becoming a mother, she has been using her own words as a newsletter contributor and volunteer blogger for the Neighborhood Parent Network of Chicago and she continues to explore new writing opportunities that appeal to her personal interests. Her passion for the current whole foods movement was the motivation behind her debut children's book, "Phoebe the Foodie," which she hopes will inspire other families with young children to appreciate real, colorful food. Carly lives in the Bucktown-Wicker Park neighborhood of… Chicago with her husband and two daughters. Dawn Madison Rewey is a renowned artist who began her career painting whimsical murals in children's' rooms. Realizing her passion to incorporate functional art into everyday life, she created her own company designing sophisticated, one-of-kind, hand-painted tableware. Her collections have been featured on HGTV and sold in high-end boutiques across the county. After becoming a mother, she was inspired to return to creating art in an elegant original style that appealed to young children. For her debut children's book, "Phoebe the Foodie," she delicately layered hand-colored drawings with richly patterned papers to produce vibrantly textured, eye-catching scenes unlike most storybooks on the market. Dawn lives in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago with her husband and two daughters.
