Annette Oquendo is the Director of her own dance school, Fine Steps Dance Studio, located in Woodland Park, NJ since 2006. She has enjoyed working with children for over 20 years both educationally and creatively. Developing after school programs for the youth and establishing a long lasting relationship with them is what she takes pride in doing. Ava and Alexis- First day of Ballet is her first book and a tribute to her granddaughters and to those young dancers who fear the idea of dance but once they've tried it, love it. She's embarked on as a Pageant Coordinator, Event Planner, Author and soon a Film Director. She is a proud wife,mother and grandmother.
