Stacey Ackerman received a BA degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Minnesota and an MA degree in organization management from Concordia University, St. Paul. Ackerman works as a college marketing instructor and freelance writer. She lives in Lakeville, Minnesota, with her husband, Eirik and their three children, Evan, Eithan, and Emily.
