Don Dilmore has published seven books and has written many magazine articles, mainly of a Christian theme. He is an ordained pastor, and served as Vice-President for Development at the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary. His book, DANNY'S RED JACKET, won first prize for Youth Fiction at the Deep South Writer's Conference. NEW BEGINNINGS has been used in many churches for New Christian classes. He has taught Christian Financial Planning seminars in many churches. He and Marie, his wife of 60 years, live in Montgomery, Texas. They have four children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Don served for two years as State Campaign Chairman for the American Cancer Society. Marie and he… are members of Benui Baptist Church, where he has served as Chairman of the Deacons. Don served in the Merchant Marine in WW II.
