Annette O'Leary-Coggins grew up in Coolrainy, Co. Wexford, Ireland, as one of eleven children. She later immigrated to California, where she worked as a chef, a food buyer and a sales representative. She is now living her childhood dream - writing children's books and riding horses in the Bitterroot Vally of Western Montana.
