Joseph Woodley was born and raised in Freeport, NY. He has always had a love and appreciation for�writing and learning since he was a child. His interest in the power that words have to�shape lives and empower those who are without a voice; to speak boldly and with authority only grew with time. Mr. Woodley currently resides in Columbus, Ohio area. He is a gifted writer with a clear and concise understanding of how relevant the times we live in are. He is an accomplished,�certified practicing Personal Fitness Trainer and Aerobics Instructor and life coach. He has been in or associated with the fitness industry for 10 years. Joseph Woodley's established NEW LIFE FITNESS, INC. in 2006.… In 2008, Joseph Woodley created the 'H.E.R.O.' character along with various others as a means to reaching out to youth about total health and wellness as well as a way to address many of the social issues faced by youth. After making several live appearances and as the characters developed he approached Bill Knott, of 'Knott Just Art' to illustrate a comic book series based on the characters. Mr. Knott is an anointed and gifted artist whose works are displayed in governmental buildings, businesses, churches and homes around the country.The purpose of the comic is that it be used as a tool to educate, emancipate and empower readers to make the choices for a better life. Joseph Woodley continues work on this and various other projects and is currently working on another book which is scheduled to be published in 2009. He remains ever grateful to Christ for empowering him everyday. He is thankful for his son and the love and support of his family his spiritual community and the bonds�of friendship he has developed throughout the years.
