Dr. Larry Roderick spent seventeen years in various manufacturing positions with Rockwell International, Texas Instruments, and Monsanto. He taught engineering at Texas A&M and the University of Texas at El Paso. A licensed professional engineer, Dr. Roderick has served as a consultant to major corporations in the areas of computer simulation; quality, safety, and ergonomics; and productivity improvement. While working with the Army at Fort Bliss, Texas, and White Sands, New Mexico, he implemented quality management, calculated Patriot missile reliability results, and conducted simulations for advanced weapons. Dr. Roderick is the author of World Class Manufacturing for Small Manufacturers,… as well as numerous articles and manuals. He also serves as a forensics engineer for cases involving safety engineering and product liability. Today he is the Director of the Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program at Tarleton State University. He has two children and five grandchildren.
