Robert Green is a graduate of the University of Idaho where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. For many years he worked for the Bureau of Land Management. During that time he also served as a volunteer fireman and paramedic. He has been a business owner for over 40 years and ha patented the World's greatest farm and yard tool "The Green Dually" a fork and rake tool in one. As an inventor he holds other patents. In 2013 he received the Idaho Adult Youth Leadership Award. One of his greatest joys is working with the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. He also enjoys being involved in several community organizations and is proud that being president has allowed him to actively sponsor youth baseball and soccer leagues, which he regularly shows support by attending. When he was a young man, he worked on dairy farms in Wisconsin, where he gained a love for animals. Watching them interact in various situations instilled in him the desire to write true stories about them. He writes from the animal's perspective, highlighting their individual personalities. He hopes to pass on to young people his appreciation and respect for them, hoping they will learn, grow in knowledge and do the same.
