David W. Beskeen has authored or co-authored numerous computer books since 1992, including over 25 titles for Course Technology. David has written on PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Windows, Livemotion, and other proprietary software packages. David also has teaching and consulting experience in the computer technology field.

Lisa Friedrichsen is a Professor at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas where she teaches a variety of database and Web-related classes. As an author, Lisa has written several Access, Office, and Web-related textbooks. As a database consultant, Lisa has developed many relational database systems in the fields of marketing, healthcare, and education.

Lynn Wermers is a professor and the chair of the Computer Science Department at North Shore Community College in Massachusetts. She also coordinates the computer applications courses for the Verizon Next Step program, and serves as a math consultant for the School of Professional and Continuing Studies at Northeastern University.
