SUSANNE BUCKLEY-ZISTEL is Professor for Peace and Conflict Studies at the Center for Conflict Studies, Philipps University Marburg, Germany. Her research interests include transitional justice, gender, post-structural theory and the nexus between peace and development assistance. RUTH STANLEY is Reader in Politics at the Institute of Political Science, Free University of Berlin, Germany. Her research interests include democratisation and human rights, peace and conflict research, security governance and gender issues, and she has published widely on these topics.
