Patricia Kelly, MSN, RN, is Professor Emeritus, Purdue University Calumet. She currently teaches nationwide NCLEX-RN review courses for Evolve Testing and Remediation/Health Education Systems, Inc., Houston, TX. Ms. Kelly was Director of Quality Improvement at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and Program Director of the Associate Degree Nursing Program and Faculty at Purdue University. She has served on the Board of Directors of Tri City Mental Health Center, St. Anthony's Home, and the Mosby Quality Connection. Ms. Kelly has worked as a staff nurse, school nurse, and nurse educator and has taught at conferences for The Joint Commission, Resource Applications, Pediatric… Concepts, and Kaplan, Inc. in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. She is the Editor of "Nursing Leadership and Management", Co-Editor of "Essentials of Nursing Leadership and Management", and "Nursing Delegation, Setting Priorities, and Making Patient Care Assignments." She has also contributed several book chapters and published numerous articles, including "Chest X-Ray Interpretation," and many articles on quality improvement. Ms. Kelly is listed in "Who's Who in American Nursing, Notable American Women", and the "International Who's Who of Professional and Business Women."
