Robert Johnson, Jr. is Chairman and Associate Professor of African Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston, a playwright and attorney. He has published extensively in the field of African-American history, most notably the books: Race, Law and Public Policy: Cases and Materials on Law and Public Policy of Race, Second Edition; Shona (with Gary N. Van Wyk) and Why Blacks Left America for Africa: Interviews with Black Repatriates, 1971-1999.
Jerry Aldridge is professor of curriculum and instruction and coordinator of the doctoral program in early childhood education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a former president of the United States chapter of the World Organization for Early Childhood Education and currently serves on the publications committee of the Association for Childhood Education International.
