Jane Boylan is Senior Lecturer at the University of Keele, UK. Her research interests include advocacy, looked after children and children's rights. She has published widely on the subject of advocacy in relation to children and young people.Jane Dalrymple is Senior Lecturer in social work at the University of the West of England, UK. She has 20 years experience as a social worker and for the five years prior to leaving practice was Director of a national advocacy service. She is co-author of Anti-Oppressive Practice: Social Care and the Law 2/e (Open University Press, 2006) and co-editor of Developing Advocacy for Children and Young People (JKP, 2008).
