Jeneen Poole grew up on the south side of Chicago and spent many of her childhood summers in Mississippi. As a child she spent many hours listening to the stories her father would tell and once she became a mother, she told those same stories--as well as the stories of her own life--to her children. Now that her children are older, she decided it was time to write them down so that they can bring joy and amazement to the next generation. Poole is currently married with three children and lives in Houston, Texas.
