Dudley Knight is Professor Emeritus and Former Vice Chair of Drama and former Head of Acting at Claire Trevor School of the Arts University of California, Irvine.� He has over forty year's of teaching in Voice Production, Speech, Dialects, Acting, at the following institutions: Master Teacher at The Actors Center, New York; Yale School of Drama; American Conservatory Theatre; UCLA; American Academy of Dramatic Arts/West; Lee Strasberg Institute; University of Southern California; California State University--Northridge; Theatricum Botanicum, Los Angeles; University of Colorado--Boulder; University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee; South Coast Repertory; Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy; California Institute of the Arts and was for two years Voice Consultant for the ABC Radio Network. � He has been a member of National Board, Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA), is Founder and List-owner of VASTAVOX, an international e-mail discussion list on voice and speech issues; Associate Editor: International Dialects of English Archive (IDEA); and has held senior positions at theatres and served on over 60 professional productions as voice/text/dialect director at such theatres as South Coast Repertory, La Jolla Playhouse, American Conservatory Theatre, Laguna Playhouse, Los Angeles Theatre Center, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, among others. .
