BABY DATA AND BABY ON THE GO was truly a labor of love for my daughter blended with my own sanity-saving attempts to balance my new little baby’s whims, preferences and fancies with my hope for routine, structure and organization (and love of color coding!). BB- (Before Baby) I had earned my undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. My graduate experience and degrees include an internship at UCLA, a master’s degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State. The concept for Baby Data came to be while my family and I were living in Florida. I had just created my own company; working full… time as a Behavior Analyst providing consultation to children with autism and their families and teachers. It was a fantastic opportunity to pair my passion for teaching with my penchant to simplify and organize. This is my third writing and publishing venture, having also co-written/published a book for parents and professionals with Kelly McKinnon in 2004: Social Skills Solutions, A Hands on Manual for Teaching Social Skills to Children with A utism; and the follow up in 2010: Social Skills Solutions, a Companion Manual. I have been fortunate enough to work all over the country (from Boston to Los Angeles) with families and schools, and continue to be grateful for all that I learned from hundreds of truly amazing children. I am inspired by their incredibly strong and courageous parents, and the many gifted teachers that I met along the way in the 18 years that I worked as a consultant.
