DIANE TITTERINGTON learned to fly in 1973 and has a commercial instrument license. Renting, ferrying and borrowing various aircraft, her log book is a Heinz of makes and models, from a J-3 Cub to a BE-90. Her flying includes ferrying aircraft from the factory, flying fire patrol and a number of air races. A radar qualified air traffic controller at Houston Center until 1981, she enjoyed aircraft familiarization rides including riding as passenger on a carrier landing and catapult takeoff at sea, dozens of airline jump seat rides, flying a T-38 and the Goodyear Blimp. She was the Professional Women Controllers Convention Chairman in 1981.Charter Chairman for the Houston North 99s, she has… also been a member of the Houston and Orange County chapters, and continues to mentor student pilots with the OC99s. In 1988, she acquired The Aviation Speakers Bureau. The bureau was a charter member of the International Association of Speaker Bureaus and The International Association of Speakers Bureau. Diane served two years as the Chairman of Leadership and Ethics for the International Group of Agencies and Bureaus. She helps organize hundreds of safety seminars and places aviation speakers, celebrities and specialists at events in North America, Europe and globally. She is an aviation marketing specialist and aviation editor.
