Jack Anderson saw the world while serving in the Army Signal Corp. He grew up loving all things Western and its' rich history. His Texas roots were planted in the 1840s when his ancestors migrated from Alabama and Illinois; His great great grandfather served in General Sibley's Texas Mounted Volunteers during the Civil War, he had a great uncle who wore the badge of a Texas Ranger, and his grandfather was half Cheyenne. He is the author of Wooden Nickels: 5 Tall Tales in Short Story form. This is his first novel.
