Boye Lafayette De Mente worked for several years as an editor of newspapers and magazines in Tokyo and has written many books on Asian language and culture, including Survival Japanese, Asian Face Reading, Kata, Korean Business Etiquette, Instant Japanese, Business Guide to Japan's Cultural Code Words, Korean Business Ethics, and Instant Korean. He Lives in Paradise Valley, AZ.
Scott Morton serves with The Navigators as International Funding Coach. He graduated from Iowa State University in technical journalism and worked newspaper advertising before joining The Navigator staff in 1970. Previous assignments include Columbia, Missouri; Iowa City, Iowa; Madison, Wisconsin; Minneapolis, Minnesota. In his Funding Coach role he travels internationally teaching and serving Navigators to succeed in Fully Funding their ministry callings. He also has a passion to see "skeptics" drawn to Christ.
