About The AuthorI retired from the Navy in 1997 after a career as a Surface Warfare Officer. My assignment to seven ships in five deployments found me on the blue water a lot and I would not trade that time. But once finally ashore I found that I was very good at and enjoyed working with computers. Hired by Prudential Financial in Jacksonville, Florida I quickly taught myself and then received training to become Microsoft Certified Partner with the operating system NT 4.0.
