Dr. Shamoo is a professor and former chair at University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore. He served on Defense Health Board (DHB) as Bush and Obama appointee, and currently serving a four year term appointment as the chair of the Medical Ethics Subcommittee of the DHB. Dr. Shamoo is an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies and senior analyst for Foreign Policy in Focus.
