Laurie Kennedy-Malone, PhD, GNP-BC, FAANP, FAGHE, is a Professor and Director of the Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Laurie has been a certified gerontological nurse practitioner for over 25 years. She received her BSN in nursing and sociology from Worcester State College, Worcester MA in 1981 and her master's degree as a gerontological nurse practitioner from The University of Lowell in MA in 1982. She received her PhD in Nursing from The University of Texas in Austin in 1990.
