<b Clayton J. Schmit</b is Arthur DeKruyter/Christ Church Oak Brook Associate Professor of Preaching and Academic Director of the Brehm Center for Worship, Theology, and the Arts at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Jana Childers is dean of the seminary and professor of homiletics and speech-communication at San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California, and is a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). She is the author of several books on preaching and the editor of the award-winning Birthing the Sermon: Women Preachers on the Creative Process form Chalice Press.
