You may have heard stories about people that have sold magazines door to door for a living. In September of 1980 Kevin Scott Dodson was hired on to one of those crews and over the year and a half that followed traveled to country in search of high days and big car totals. This was a life on the road and in the trenches where few have ever dared to go. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't glamorous, but you are guaranteed one thing, it was all real. That was more than 35 years ago and that simpler world has long since vanished away. Mr Dodson went on the attend Hofstra University in N.Y. and has pursued many creative endeavors including a career as a professional sandcastle builder and writer. But… the road draws you back and it's hard to put away the memories of such impactful personal experiences like the ones he had in 1980 and 1981 selling magazines door to door for a living.
