Mr. Harry C. Heyman was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Bellevue, Ohio. He was in charge of the S-2 Intelligence Unit serving in New Britain, Pavuvu Island, Peleliu Island, Okinawa. Mr. Heyman made his home in Ohio, after having married Jeanne Louise Wurzel after the war, and the two had 3 children. Mr. Heyman was active in the Ohio Democratic Party serving as State Treasurer, and 30 plus years as Sandusky County Chairman. Mr. Heyman worked as a contractor, BMV Registrar, and now author.
