Description:

Author Larry Leff bypasses those dreary lists of geometric formulas for students to memorize. Instead, he makes the subject interesting and easy to learn by placing emphasis on the clear logic that underlies geometric principles, and then showing how to apply those principles in problem situations. He introduces students to angles and perpendicular lines, parallel lines, polygons, triangles, geometric inequalities, special quadrilaterals, ratios and proportions, the right triangle, circles, chords, tangents, secant segments, calculating areas and volumes, coordinate geometry, and locus and basic geometric constructions. New in this edition is fascinating chapter on Transformation Geometry…
