Dr. Wendy Hageman Smith attended Central Washington University and the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she received her PhD in mathematics education. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Education at Radford University. Dr. Hageman Smith has made the techniques of teaching math at the college level the primary focus of her research. ?Studying Math: Pathways To Success? is a direct product of her doctoral research into post-secondary mathematics pedagogy.
