Alan Burner is a graduate of the University of California, with an emphasis in fine arts, as well as, a humanities background in Japanese Language and Literature. In 1981 he earned his MFA degree, and has since been extensively involved in the art world. Alan has worked in various capacities as an artist, lecturer, educator and author. He has contributed his skills as an artist and educator in Johannesburg, South Africa, Paris, France, Yokohama, Japan and in Southern California.
